annulment
got married less than a month ago and husband left with another woman same day. I am now inheriting money from mother. I need an annulment so this man can't get my money.

keep any money you get in a separate account in your name only and you will be fine. Get an attorney and get a divorce or annulment.

It is likely that you will need a divorce, rather than an annulment.
You also will be able to keep any property acquired during the marriage through gift or bequest as separate property. In order to protect yourself, keep any money from your mother in a new, separate account.
