Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas
Appeal a dismissal
Once a court has dimissed a divorce because neither party had done anything with it in a year, can it be appealed instead of starting over? It was dismissed on the 6th.

Re: Appeal a dismissal
Why would you want to bother with $2000 to $5000 to appeal even if you could?
No, a dismissal for failure to prosecute the case cannot be appealed because it would be frivolous. Just refile, pay the $100 filing fee and get divorced and forget such foolisgness as appealing ... goodness!
