Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

" Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure."

I have been served with a petition for failing to pay child support. The petition tells me that I must respond in writing and "must otherwise comply with the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure." I want to know what is the proper format to do this. Thank you!

Get a local attorney to help you.

You are asking for help in a couple of hundred words that law students spend an entire year of class learning.

Can't be done.

Even if you finr the "right book", it will only likely do you more harm than good.

Trained attorneys don't even file their own answers in cases like this, because if it is not in their specific area of expertise they know it is foolish to try to do it alone.... and even if it IS in their area of expertise they know that in cases such as this, where emotions sometimes overpower good sense, we need an impartial advisor to help.... someone like an attorney.

Bite the bullet and hire one or you will regret it for several years to come, paying more in child suppor that you should be, or ending up in jail for failure to pay child support set far higher than it should have been.
