Change in custody

My mother has custody of me but, up until about 3 weeks ago i was living at my father's house. He wants custody of me. My question is about how long will a custody trial take and what will I have to do?

Most custody cases can be heard by a court within 6 months. If your father wants custody he'll have to file a motio to change custody. When the motion is filed he can seek a court date.
