Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

child custody hearing

Is there any kind of way I can stop A child custody hearing in Arkansas, and have the hearing in Texas? Yes, all the papers were file in Arkansas, but all 3 kids were born and raised in Texas ages 8, 3, and 1... and only the youngest one has been living in Arkansas for 6 months with the mother.. the other 2 have been living and going to school in Texas, with me, the father...

Thanks for your help...

Re: child custody hearing

Yes. you need an Attorney to file a Motion to Dismiss as to child custody since Texas in what is called the "home state" of the children. I am sure that there is more to the situation, but you need to move now to avoid a disaster.
