Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

Is the child mine.
Back in 1984 I met up with an old flame from High School. I was in a good relationship with a lady I loved, but the old flame was to tempting to resist. To make a long story short we had our fling for about a month and then the old problems came into play again, so I cut it off with her. I married the women I loved in 87 and we have had a great life. Last year this flame from the past contacted me via email from what she knows about my life she has kept some sort of tabs on me. However I had not had any contact with her since 84. Well she now tells me that her 17 year old daughter is my child. I am totally confused as to what I should do. She says she doesn't want anything from me, but if this is my child I feel I have a right to meet and get to know her. She said this was not possible as it would ruin her relationship with her and the child. Also that she has a daddy and it would just not be right to bring all this up. If it was only her saying it one time I would just think she was crazy, but she has went as far as to send me pictures of the girls life and stories from her growing up. Do I have any legal rights to find out is this child mine.

Ask for a DNA test...this will resolve ALL issues as to whether you are the father or not...GOOD LUCK!!!
