I need coustody of my grandchild

Please advise me on how I could file for coustody of my 5 year old grandchild with out having to use a lawyer or if that's even possible. I know one can get the forms for a divorce on the Internet and I was just wondering if there's a way to file for coustody in the same way.

Get an attorney.

You are asking for advise in a couple of hundred words that will accurately sumarize and infuse you with the knowledge of three years of law school, and years of practice.

I trust you would not ask for advice on performing your own brain surgery or filing your own teeth.

You can get "forms on the Internet" for next to anything, but the "forms" may well do you more harm than good, and even for an experienced attorney the "form" is only a starting point, subject to infinite modification to fit the specific facts or your case.

Please don't try to do this yourself.
