Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

Can ex-husband override my choice for gaurdianship of son?

Can my ex-husband override my choice of gaurdian for our son if I die first or will my wishes still be considered against his in a court of law if he later dies with a new choice. My present husband and I have chosen a couple who have the same religious beliefs and similar lifestyles as what my son has been growing up with. We also have another son which we do not want him seperated from. My ex-husband has no other children.

If you die before your ex-husband, he will automatically become the guardian of the child. If he dies after you, the court will look at his choice of guardian first if properly indicated.
