Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas
Father In Need Of Help...
A friend had a baby with a women four months ago. They were never married but his name is on the birth certificate. The mother got placed in jail over various charges. Father had the baby at the time of the mothers arrest. The mother in the past has left the baby with just whom ever so she could do what she wanted. She has yet to provide permenat housing for the child. Father is wanting custidy but doesnt have the money to retain a lawyer. Is there any he can do to get custidy or at least file that isnt going to cost him a bunch of money? Or anything that you know of that could help him in this situation. He was told that he needed a legal document just to be able to take the child to the hospital for medical attention that is a long going accurance for this child. He is sure that if asked the mother would not give temporary custidy to him until she is released.

You need to come up with some money. Yes, you can represent yourself, but in this case, you need an emergency order and you need someone to take it to the judge NOW!
