Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

My husband hit me infront of my children, and as soon as I could possibly leave with the least risk to me and my children I left from our home in Springdale ar, and came up to my father's house in Mt Vernon Mo. I have my children with me now, but need legal assistance helping me with my case. I do not want my husband to ever lay a hand on our kids, and I would like full custody with supervised visitation rights for him. My kids are scared and so am I. He has all of our things, beds, clothes, personal belongings, and so on. Please help me, and my children. What can I do to ensure I get full custody of my children? What can I do get my children's belongins back to them? How can I protect us?

You should go see an order of protection from the circuit court in your county. The cost is around $165.00. The judge could order your husband immediately out of the home and put you back in it. Additionally, your husband would be prohibited from having any contact with you or the children. A hearing will be set within ten (10) days to address the issues of child support and the continuation of that order.

You should also contact an attorney in the Sprindale area.
