Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas
power of attorney
To turn power of attorney over to a relative do they have to be an attorney. According to the forms on line they mention power to an attorney. And I am looking for one
to give my daugher power of attorney for me.

Re: power of attorney
No, a person does not have to be an attorney to hold a POA.
I would advise you to seek the services of an qualified attorney in your area before you sign a POA, so that its full effects can be explained to you.
POAs can be very expansive or can be limited for a particular purpose. You need to be aware of what you are signing before you turn over the power.
