Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

Right to recover engagement ring, car and business investment.

I have been engaged to a woman since March 2002. She broke it off a week ago. I gave her a very expensive diamond ring and a car. Also, I invested a substantial amount of money ($100K) into her business. Unfortunately no written agreement exists between us on this but our verbal agreement was that it was a loan and that we would discuss repayment terms upon marriage. she is now claiming that it was a gift. I was intimately involved in the formulating her business plan and have very detailed financial records as to exactly what the money was spent on. I also have numerous email exchanges between us discussing an invesment in her business.

When she left, she also took some furniture of mine (we were living together in my house).

What are the chances that I can recover, the ring, the car, the investment and the furniture.

If it was a gift, it was obviously a "conditional gift", conditioned on the marriage. If not that, then unjust enrichment and fraud in the inducement. Actually, I would guess that if there is equity in the business, you should be able to collect something for your investment. Call me if I may be of service to you.
