what rights do power of atty give step-mom?

My ex-husbands wife says that she has been given power of attorney, by her husband, and that therefore she has all of the rights to make decisions for our son that his father or I have. By my son's father giving his wife power of attorney, what rights does that give her over our son? I am the custodial parent, and they have visitation.

You would need a copy of the Power of Attorney. Is the son you son or is he your step-son?
