Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

My son is 13 he hasnt had any contact with his biological father for the last 5 years. My ex has not tried to even conact my son.He doesnt pay child support and was never ordered to by a court. I am remarried now, for the last cpl of years and my son wants to be adopted by my husband and share his last name. What can I do since we have no clue as to where my ex is in order to have him sign papers. My son wants nothing to so at all with his biological father.What can I do?

Contact an attorney who specializes in adoptions in the Rogers area. Since you don't know where the biological father lives the attorney will have to send notice to that man's last known address. If service comes back as insufficient then the court will appoint an attorney to attempt service before it enters an order.
