terminating guardianship

can one terminate guardianship rights without having a plan of action for the minor? is guardianship treated the same as adoption?

Re: terminating guardianship

Guardianship is different from adoption in that it can be terminated. Guardianship can be terminated without another guardian, but the judge is most likely going to want to find out what is going to happen next, at least to some extent.
