Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

Visitation

Can my current wife utilize my visitation privelidges while I am out of the country serving in the Air Force?? My ex wife refuses to allow my 14 year old son to be around my current wife without any sound reason, and makes the child feel guilty for asking to go and see my current wife and the rest of my family. I am only able to take 2 to 4 weeks leave every year, and would like for my family to be able to spend time with my son when I'm unable to. The minor child is 14 and has expressed the desire to be able to visit my wife and her children on a regular basis. Thank you in advance for any assistance you might be able to offer in this matter.

Re: Visitation

That is a reasonable situation but may require a court order or the threat of a court order to make it happen. I suggest you contact your ex and say you will take her to court unless she allows the visitation. If she says no, I think you will need to take her to court to get a court order allowing the visitation.
