Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

Can my wife get any support from me if I divorce her on the grounds that she is neglectful and verbaly abusive towards my grand children? They are her step grandchildren and on several occacions she refuses to feed them , although she feeds her own grandchildren.

Spousal support (alimony) is based on a number of factors of which the grounds for the divorce is rarely considered. Support awarded, if any, will be based on the length of the marriage, each parties income earned during the marriage and income potential, and need.
