Legal Question in Medical Leave in Arkansas
Not long enough
I am considering a job and I am two months pregnant. Will my new insurance cover me when the baby comes? I know the FMLA will not protect me and a six-week maternity leave is out, but what can I do to ensure myself of at least some time off without losing my job?

I cannot provide any guidance as to state law issues, but obviously federal law does not apply to your leave situation. With respect to how to handle the situation, be up front with your employer as to your situation and need for some leave.
