Legal Question in Medical Leave in Arkansas

Terminated for no reason
can they terminated me while i am on medical leave? my employer did not tell me i had 12weeks to be off from work nor did they give me a handbook with this information in it. i went to them so they can fill out my short term disability form like always they had been fill it out since 07-14-06 all the way up to 11-06-06. when i went in the office to get them to fill it out for Nov she told me i was suppose to be terminated last month, so she fired my right there on the spot and then she call the secretary and told her to put my fired day down as 10-06-06 so that they want get in trouble with the state but she really fired me on 11-06-06 and they continued to sigh my disability form after 10-06-06 my question is can they do that

If you qualify for FMLA leave, they cannot do that to you. You should contact an attorney well versed in FMLA law immediately.
