wanting to marry an illegal

i am pregnant with my boyfriends child, he is here illegally. we want to get married but are not sure about the law and the process of doing so.

If your boyfriend entered without inspection, you must consular process. This means that the spousal petition would eventually go to the USA consulate in his country of origin. He would have to leave the USA and to attend interview there. He would not be able to return to USA for a period of 3 to 10 years depending on how long he has been here without legal status. If you are a USA citizen and he did enter with inspection, meaning he entered legally, but just overstayed his visa, you may be able to process from within USA. Please seek professional advice from an immigration attorney.
