Birth defect a pre exsisting condition
If a child is born with a birth defect and has the first of many corrective surgeries then added to a employees family policy do to divorce does the insurure have the right to denie coverage as a pre exsisting condition. Upon a medical reveiw

to the policy - almost all dependents are required to be covered from birth.
You should ask the Dept. of Insurance about this.
