life insurance benefits
My daughter's grandfather just passed away. She is the only grandchild. He has a life insurance policy worth $400,000. The grandmother was listed as the beneficierry. Is there anyway my daughter can be entitled to any of this money

Re: life insurance benefits
Is her grandmother still alive? If not, would need to look at policy to see if secondary beneficiary or other provision in case original beneficiary not around. If none, then would go to his estate and the owner would be determined by the residue of his will. If no will, then by the line of intestacy in the AR statutes.
I hope this covers what you were asking. If no beneficiary and no will, email me and I will try to explain the line of intestacy that it might go through.
