Legal Question in Insurance Law in Arkansas
Motel Liabilaty On Auto Break-In
Our car window was broken and all our belongings were taken. We were parked in the motel's parking lot. They have a service that alows you to leave your car in their lot if you stay with them before you fly out on a trip. After the break in the manager told us the same thing happened three nights before.
We were at a motel in Arkansas.
Is the motel liable for our loss? If they had told us about the previous break in we would have removed all our belongings.
Our auto insurance does not cover this.

Yes, if they advertised as a place to leave your car while on a flight and they knew about previous break-ins, they are liable to you.
