Job workload increase without compensation

Can a corporation change and/or add additional job duties to employees without compensation or employee acceptance.

Do you have an employee contract? Is there an employee handbook that describes your responsibilities? You probably need some type of written or strongly understood agreement that your job was for what it previously was for. It would be difficult to do much without that. I'm not saying impossible, just difficult.
