No Notice Dropped from Salary to Hourly
I accepted a Salary Position on 10/6/03 with my employer. On November 11, 2003, I was told i was being dropped back to hourly effective November 13, 2003 and the position was being giving to a previous employee who was fired and rehired back. When asked why was told I was being to easy on the workers. Before this time I was never told there was a problem with the way I handled the workers no written notices or reprimands. Can this be done?

What type employment contract or agreement did you have? Are you working for a private business or a government, state, or county job? There are some questions that you would need to answer to determine if they could do that.
