My company uses pto time to calculate vacation leave. I have a total of 253 hrs which is about 6 weeks vacation time. I want to take this time off for personal reasons. They are telling me that I can only take 2 weeks off. If I take the whole 6 weeks without their approval will that be construded as abandonment of my job (ie quit) or termination on the company's part (ie fired)?
