Legal Question in Employment Law in Arkansas

Put hold on my paycheck.

Until recently I was employed as a Health Care Agency. My paycheck was withheld for 3 months. They were unable to give me any status on the situation. The agency repeatedly gave me the ''run around''.Finally, I was told it was because my certification was not current. They said the sit. would be resolved any day. After a period of time passed without receiving a paycheck and numerous phone calls.I submitted the docs. once again.I was instructed to continue providing services to my homebound client and assured I would receive my paycheck shortly. After 3 months I received a paycheck.Only to find out they ''stopped payment on it.They did reissue another check. The reason given was because the check was greater then 60 days. The agency should of been aware of their own policy.again the Agency still owes me money. My former employer held my paycheck, but allowed me to continue working.

Re: Put hold on my paycheck.

Your employer is obligated to pay you for the time you have spent working for them. You probably need to consult with an attorney to see what can be done to help you obtain your pay for the time you worked.
