Are employers required to compensate employees for time or tuition of required training, such as an appreticeship class? Enrollment and attendance in the class are mandatory for continued employment. The class is not held during regular business hours.

Re: Required Job Training

The employer probably has to pay you for required training. There are several other factors that will come into play on this, including the nature of the employer.
