Legal Question in Employment Law in Arkansas
I currently work for Abercrombie and Fitch as an assistant manager and I work about 2 to 3 hours overtime every pay period. My overtime pay is not time and a half, it is just half my hourly pay. Is this legal and what can I do about it?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Several additional facts are needed to evaluate your posting. For instance, you indicate that you are an assistant manager and usually assistant managers are paid on a salary basis. However, you state that overtime pay is half of your hourly pay. These two positions are inconsistent. In order to evaluate your claim for unpaid wages, you would need to schedule a time to consult with an attorney. During the consultation, you would need to take in your pay stubs showing your hours of work and your pay.
