Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arkansas
I am renting an apartment in Ft Smith Ar. I h have one child and have recently become pregnant again. We've discovered we have a bedbug infestation. Our landlord refuses to treat any of the other apartments and I can't stay there with all the chemicals and stress. I have an opportunity to rent somewhere else and would like to take it. How can I break my lease with minimum penalties?

An Attorney should review the Lease and you should get an expert to say you have "bedbugs"... This sounds like a Court action to terminate your Lease if the problem (bedbugs) is not corrected...
