Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arkansas
Tenant Parking Policy
Our apt complex implemented a parking policy a while back.
Tenants and guests must have a parking sticker in their vehicle. This week my boyfriend's truck was towed b/c he did not have a parking sticker in place. He did have one, but the windshield was replaced and we haven't gotten another sticker. We can provide proof for the windshield. I've asked for the $80 towing fee to be refunded. Other tenants have gotten a break. Plus, I've had to fight for everything in the five years I've lived there even for maitenance repairs! At one point I've had to call the city building inspector on them. I feel that we should receive a refund from management. There pt is well you knew about it so your fault. I admit we should have gotten another sticker, but for once cut me a break like you did for the other tenants! Additionally, I've been forced to live with second hand smoke for the past month. My new neighbors smoke a lot, and the smoke seeps through to my apt. After another battle, they asked the tenants to vacate by 4/13. Another reason I feel I should receive the money back b/c I've been forced to inhale second hand smoke. I appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks in advance for all of your assistance!
