Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Arkansas

I had an accidental gunshot wound to my upper right chest and exited through my right arm. it hit the main artery in my arm. is it legal for an er staff to let u lay there for over 4 hours bleeding internally without clamping the artery or even exploring the wound for further damage. I was not given any blood and my arm swelled to about 2 times its size from filling with blood. and caused damage as a result.
