Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arkansas

difficulty with an-uncooperative lender

I have been having difficulty with my mortgage holder for the past 4 months. My husband and I ran into a financial problem and became unable to pay our mortgage payments. So to help with this situation with put our house up for sale. In January of this year (2003) a contract was put on the house from a buyer. Washington Mutual has decided to do an acquisition of other mortgage companies and then decied to transfer all of loss mitagation to their Jacksonville Florida office. Myself, my realtor, and a closing company has repeatedly sent them documents they claim they are not getting because of the transfer of offices and has delayed the closing of this house for more than 3 months now. We are trying to work out a short sale agreement and now they are asking for more money than what I owe on the house. What are my options and why do I have do deal with their negligence?

Re: difficulty with an-uncooperative lender

You need to contact the registered agent for this entity to acquire service. Other matters exist.

If you stopped paying when the holder's merger occurred then you may have been lost in the shuffle. I am available should you need assistance.
