Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arkansas
My husband had a mortage with his previous wife, in there divorce papers its states she got to keep the home and obtained total and full finacial responsiblity for the home including taxes , repairs, etc. After about 1 yr his ex wife filled for bankruptcy and including the home in this . Well after some time she defaulted on her bankruptcy and now the home is being forclosed on . My question is , is this foreclosure going to show up on my husbands credit meaning his name is still on the mortage and if so is there anyway to provent this from hurting his credit?

Yes, they will come after him, but he can crossclaim her in the lawsuit. He needs to do that now in the foreclosure action.
