Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arkansas

Property Deeds

My husband and I own two parcels of property that adjoin, we have two deeds. Is there a way to get just one deed? We are trying to sell the property and it would be made simpler if we just had one deed rather than two for the new buyers mortgague.

Re: Property Deeds

You can each file a deed transferring your property to your spouse, or vice versa. Then the owner of the two properties could file one deed transferring both properties to the two of you. You would just describe both properties on the deed. Record it and you've got just one deed.
