real estate broker contract

The contract states I must pay a 6% commission on the asking price if I change my mind about selling my home and want to cancel the contract and the home is removed from the market.

So what is your question?

If you have signed the contract, then the provision is enforcable.

If you have not, strike that term of the contract or refuse to sign.
