Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arkansas
Sellers disclosure stated NO for leaks and water issues yet now the insurance co has advised our insurance ded will be raised to $2500 due to a claim filed by them 2 yrs before we owned this house. We also lodged 2 claims (weather related) and one was not covered by insurance but now counts as a claim. We fixed the leak in the basement she failed to tell us about. In the disclosure it asks if the buyer needs to be made aware of any issue that would interfere with obtaining home insurance and she said NO. Lies that can all be proven! Is it worth a lawsuit?
