Undivided deeded property

A few years ago my wife's mother deeded her property to my wife and three brothers and sisters. The property was not divided. Later one brother died intestate and the survivors have not had his share probated. Can the property be divided by consent of the owners so one person's share can be sold and if no consent is possible would the only solution be a sheriff's sale? Thank you
