Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arkansas

I own some unimproved land in a different county in Arkansas than where I live and have barbed wire fence bordering it. The people who own the property bordering mine have put up there own fence and are saying that the growth from my property is hurting their fence. They are threatening to sue me! Do I have any legal obligation?

P.S. I have owned my land for years before their land was bought and developed.
