Legal Question in Traffic Law in Arkansas
plea to dismiss a case
I want to represent my son in court and I want to enter a plea to dismiss the case against him. The judge is giving us the opportunity to withdraw or change our plea from guilty to innocent. I want to move to drop the case. What is the legal language for this?
Thanks,

Re: plea to dismiss a case
You cannot represent your son in Arkansas. Only an attorney, that has met the standards set forth by the state, may represent another individual.
However, your son may represent himself in the matter. There is no way to give you the required language for a motion to dismiss without knowing more of the facts surrounding the case. I would suggest that you contact a qualifed attorney in your area for assistance in this matter.
Good luck.
