Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arkansas

Deceased on quitclaim deed

My aunt and two of her siblings were tenants in common on a piece of land in Arkansas. My aunt died ten years ago, and did not leave a will. She was never married and did not have any children. Her name remains on the quitclaim deed. This piece of property was the only real or personal property she had an interest in at the time of her death. Her estate never went through probate. How do her siblings have her name removed from the deed? Will they have to go through probate?

Re: Deceased on quitclaim deed

Her name is on the deed as grantee I presume and she is the recorded owner (as tenant in common) with the county in AR. The matter will need to be resolved in probate as her share of the land will pass intestate to her heirs. Please call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
