If you write a letter to your nephew giving him a collection, can you legally change your mind and give it to someone else.

I'm not sure I have all the information. Is this in a letter, or a will or some type of contract? If it's in a letter, did he give you anything in return?

You can change your mind about things in your will and how they are divided, at any time.

As long as you didn't have a valid contract or there isn't some type of exchange, you can change your mind about giving something away, with a few exceptions.
