Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arkansas
inheritance
My father and mother were never married to each other. My birth certificate does have my Dad's name on it as my father. When he died, he didn;t leave a will. Am I entitled to any of his estate. He was married at the time of his death.

Re: inheritance
You may be entitled to a portion of his estate, if you can establish paternity. A birth certificate is not dispositive. You may need to file a motion to determine heirship in probate court in order to get an order.
