Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arkansas
never been married ,lived as comlaw married
my mother died in nov 1999.her and this man lived together (as he says com law)for 15 years.now he says what ever was her is his now.he has not put it through probate.i have never even seen a will.he says he has it in the computor and it is legal when you do it on the computor.i been to the court house in walnutridge,ark.they have no record of the will.they had land in there names together and cars.he says he don't have to show the will or anything saying they were married.he has signed everything as her husand,when they weren't married.he filed married on irs paper,his medical card had her as his wife,now he trying to get her back pay on her disabity.signed that he was her husand,never showed paper to her attorney that is handling that he was married to her.
i would like to now what are my sister and my rights are to this.can this man get in trouble for that he has done.he also had her creamaide and signed papers for that.i also give him a loan to buy ahouse and now the papers reads it is lefted to his heirs not any of my mom's kids.what can i do about that.since he is married to some on else now.i know his heirs is her and her kids and his own son.can you please help i don't know what to do.

Your situation is quite complicated. I would need additional facts to properly advise you. You and your sister certainly have some rights to some property but without more information I cannot say exactly what.
