Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arkansas
My mother passed away this January. We could not find a will. I am one of six children. We were told since there was no will we would still need to appoint an executor, and it had to be unanamous. I was appointed. What do I need to file to be able to get the records I need? For instance: Leins on property, payoffs on loans, etc?

You need file formal probate proceedings with the probate court. There are forms available on the arkanas supreme court website.
