Petition for Final Distribution Order
My mom passed in October of 2004 and I have had trouble keeping an atttorney to finish the probate. My last attorney became a judge before finishing. The proof of publication has been done and I was told that I only needed to file for have a final distribution order and have it filed. Is this something I can do or must an attorney complete it? and

You have the right to do it yourself, as long as the judge allows such. But you may want to consider having an attorney help you to make sure everything is done right. It has to say certain things that make it completely correct.
