can one sibling of deceasedparents force apublic auction?

there was no will.there are three heirs.one believes there was more money left than there was and that she was cheated out of it.two family groups live on the land because it was well known in the family that the son was to inherit the land,and there was no objection when the homes were built.now one sister says that her lawyer is announcing a public auction of our homes and the home of the deceasedcan this be stopped?

It would take a court order, or an agreement between the people involved, to force the property to be auctioned off. If she is trying to have it sold off, you may have to go to court to have it determined.
