You should check it out!!!
Re: Waiver of inventory and accounting
I would be extremely cautious about signing a waiver of the inventory and accounting if the attorney for the estate is unwilling to give you any information about the estate. By signing these waivers, you are agreeing that the personal representative can close the estate without giving you this information.
You will need an attorney in Arkansas to assist you with these issues.

Is there a will? They should let you see the will, if you are named in it.
The Waiver of Notice and Entry of Appearance, and Waiver of Inventory and Accounting are noraml documents that go along with the probate of an estate. Waiver of Notice and Entry of Appearance means that you are waiving your right to appear in court and question or challenge what is going on. The Waiver of Inventory and Accounting means that they do not have to file with the court an inventory of all the property, at this time. I would contact the attorney that sent this to you to explain what is in the estate, whether there was a will, and what your portion or role is in the estate. Also who the Administrator of the estate is. If you feel comfortable with everything after talking to them, you may want to sign the papers and return them. If not, you may want to consult an attorney down here to represent your interests in the estate. If you are entitled to part of the estate, they should let you know how much the estate is. If you can tell me where you are on the family tree, I can let you know the percentage of the estate you would be entitled to, if there is no will. If there is a will, it would dictate what you get.
