law and legislation for a dance school
I am in the process of beginning to open a dance school in Brisbane, Queensland and wanted to know what laws applied to me and running my business.

As to registration as a dance school...check with the QLD consumer affairs department for compliance requirements.Also your professional body
You will need to apply for an Australian Business number (ABN) for your business and possibly GST and PAYG-Withhoding (If your an employer)
