Legal Question in Construction Law in Australia
Retaining wall
Whilst working for a Landscaper 12 mths ago, I was left in charge of the construction of a retaining wall & asked to subcontract the bricklaying part out. The wall has now cracked & the Landscaper is seeking compensation from me for damages. As I no longer work for this company, am I liable for costs ?
Regards.

Re: Retaining wall
If you were an employee and acting reasonably within the scope of your employment - probably not.
If you were a sub-contractor and acting autonomously - probably
